An incredibly sophisticated luxury wristwatch, this Gevril GV2 XO Submarine 44 Automatic is number 60 out of only 500 produced- a limited edition- coming in the original presentation box with the original tag and bracelet. High quality automatic rotary movement with 26 jewels, it is waterproof up to 10 ATM/100 M/330 FT and is all stainless steel.
The very handsome dial is a pretty navy blue that matches the navy blue unidirectional-rotating bezel and inner bezel. A date window is uniquely located between the 4 and 5 position round indices. The date is displayed in black numerals on a white background. The white indices are luminous round and pen-nib shaped and outlined in silver, with stick minute marks. The inner bezel shows the Arabic numerals which are also white. The sword hour and minute hands are silver and the Breguet silver sweep second is tipped in a bright red. All hands are luminous.
The watch face is round at 44.6mm sitting atop of a square, stepped, stainless-steel bezel. It features two crowns- the crown to set the time is located at the 3 positions and engraved with GV2 logo, and the second crown is located at the 4 position and is used to set the date.
The caseback features a very attractive, clean, exhibition window that shows the automatic rotor. The caseback is marked Limited Edition, Ref. 4542, Swiss Made, 060/500, 25 Jewels, XO, Submarine, Sellita SW 200, 316L (stainless-steel logo) and SC (sapphire crystal logo). The movement reads Gevril and 26- Twenty-Six Jewels Swiss Made.
